2012: Started and dressed in four (4) regular season games for  Toronto… Week 3, Started in first career CFL games and recorded four (4) DT in a loss at Hamilton…Week 4, Started at DB and recorded five (5)  DT in a win against Winnipeg…Week 5, Started at DB and recorded three (3) DT and  one (1) ST in win at Montreal…Week 6, Started at DB and recorded team and new season high six (6) DT in loss versus BC...Week 7-18, Listed on team’s practice roster.  2012 Playoffs…Did not dress against Edmonton in Eastern Semi-Final... Started at CB and recorded five (5) tackles in a win against Montreal in the Eastern Final… 2012 Grey Cup Started at CB and recorded five (5) tackles in a win versus Calgary.

2012: Signed as a free agent by the Cleveland Gladiators (AFL)…Played one game recording 1 INT.

2011: Signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams (NFL) and later released.

Played four seasons for Akron (2007-2010)…2010 After spending his first three years as a strong safety and special teams player for Akron, he moved to wide receiver where he had 30 receptions for 412 yards (13.7 avg) and 2 TDs…Named Third-Team All-Mid American Conference at safety…Played in all 12 games with 7 starts at strong safety…Returned 13 kickoffs for an average of 18.3 yds…2009 Played in all 12 games for Akron starting 7 at strong safety… 2008 Played in all 12 games, primarily on special teams.

Jalil is the son of Michelle Carter. Prior to Akron, Jalil attended St. John’s Jesuit High School where he earned First-Team All-City League honours on offence as a senior and was a sprinter on the track team, placing 11^th at the Division I state meet in the 100-meter dash as a senior.
