Signed as a free agent by the Toronto Argonauts on February 11, 2013.

2012: Signed by the Calgary Stampeders on May 10 and attended training camp before being released June 16.

2011: Signed as a free agent with the Houston Texans (NFL)andattended training camp… Released as a final cut on August 29.

Played three seasons at TCU (2008-10)…Played one season at Tyler Junior College (2007)…2010 Started all 13 games and finished with 37 tackles, two (2) forced fumbles and two (2) interceptions, taking one back to the house for a touchdown in a 62-7 win over Tennessee Tech. Finished his College career with four (4) tackles in a Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin… 2009 Played in 13 games totaling 22 tackles and adding two (2) interceptions… 2008 Played in five (5) games after being hurt in preseason camp, finished the season with one tackle assist…2007 (Tyler Junior College) Ranked as one of the top players in Junior College.

Jason majored in Communications at Texas Christian University and plans to pursue his Masters degree in Kinesiology and Education. He has a 6-year old daughter named Jakayla and enjoys spending time with her when he’s not on the football field. In 2012, he was named a graduate assistant on the coaching staff at Tyler Junior College and now coaches the defensive backs. While at Carthage High School, Jason was named the Texas 3-A Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior.
