James started 32 games over four seasons at Bishop’s University (2005-08)…Compiled 164 career tackles which was good enough for second all-time in school history…2008 Earned Second-Team All Canadian as a senior…Earned QUFL All-Star nomination...Named to East-West Bowl…Made 59.5 tackles which were third–most in the CIS.

James majored in social sciences at Bishop’s in addition to working towards a minor in health and sports studies. He was teammates with current CFL players Shawn Gore, Tim Cronk, Steven Turner, and played under Edmonton Eskimos defensive line coach Leroy Blugh. James aspires to become a high school teacher and football coach when his playing days have concluded. A Brampton, ON native, he attended both St. John Boscoe High School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
