Favorite Argo Memory: Cheerleader Boot Camp Weekend! It was a wonderful experience to meet the many members of the Argos organization. It was especially exciting because it provided an opportunity to develop close friendships with all the team members. I learned that we are so much more than just a team of cheerleaders, we are part of a family, and we will continue to develop wonderful relationships while we strive to support the Argos and  significant charitable events in our community. For me the Boot Camp weekend foreshadowed what will certainly be a GREAT season!

Occupation: Full-time student.

Education: University of Western Ontario, Bachelor of Arts Program: Media Information and Technoculture.

Most Embarrassing Moment:  I was a member of a dance team performing on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.  The night before a show which included my solo performance, I managed to have my face in front of a slamming door, which resulted in a lost front tooth, and lips that expanded to 5x their natural size.   Regardless, I suppressed the pain and the absolute humiliation, painted on my red lipstick, and completed the dance while I performed with a beaming smile. Later, I was complimented on how much I looked like Angelina Jolie....if they only knew!

Favorite Vacation Spot: The Hawaiian Islands. I have had the opportunity to visit my Grandmother who has retired to Hawaii every chance I get. Hawaii is so much more than your average vacation spot; it has a rich culture and history combined with the most beautiful scenery,  warm people and has ignited my new passion for surfing. It has definitely captured my heart.
What do you like to do in your spare time: I live a very busy lifestyle, and I am always on the ‘go’.  To relax I love to just sit in my backyard, enjoy a glass of wine with my sister, and talk all night as we laugh and cry at the stories that arise.

Workout/nutrition tip: H20 is your best friend, being sedentary is your enemy.

When did you start dancing?: I started out rocking in my crib to music and I have not stopped since!

Why do you like being an Argos Cheerleader?: I love dancing and performing, and I love contributing to charitable events in our community. Being an Argos Cheerleader provides me with the opportunity to culminate all of my passions while supporting my favourite football team…GO ARGOS GO!

Do you have any pets (if so what name)?: I grew up with a yellow lab who recently passed away…and yes dogs do go to heaven!  (I’m working on my family for a chocolate lab this summer…wish me luck!)

If we could make one dream come true what it would be?: To travel to every nation, and experience every culture in our world, to try and understand all of God’s creations.  My ultimate dream is to fulfill God’s plan for me…. my bags are packed and waiting!

Who is your role model?: Throughout my life, I have been inspired by so many women. The common denominator among all of them is that they have all been strong, independent, humourous, and successful human beings who are committed to making their dreams come true.

Favorite Film, Song, Actor or Musician: I have recently read Twilight, and I have seen the movie. I am completely dedicated and inspired to meet my Edward Cullen so I can live happily ever after as a vampire!  Who needs Prince Charming when you can have Edward Cullen and live forever?
