Years on Team: Rookie
Birthday: February 12
Sign: Aquarius
Favourite Argo Memory: A few years ago, I flew to Toronto from Winnipeg (my hometown) and my dad took me to an Argos game. We sat in the Sideline Lounge and had an amazing time. I met Damon Allen, got my picture taken with the cheerleaders and was even on the videoboard!
Occupation: Professional Photographer / Graphic Designer
Education: I have a B.A in Rhetoric and Communications from the University of Winnipeg as well as a Diploma in Professional Photography PrairieView School of Photography.
Most Embarrassing Moment: I went on a road trip to Vancouver with a few girlfriends and on our way there, we decided to spend a few days in Edmonton. On our first night, we went to a really cute restaurant on White Ave. and we were having a great time until I got up to go to the washroom where I accidentally tucked my skirt into my underwear. I did an entire lap around the restaurant before one of my friends ran up to me and fixed my dress.
Do you speak any other languages (if so which)?: I like to think I can speak French.
Favourite Vacation Spot: I absolutely love to travel and wish I did it a lot more of it. Mexico, Florida and New York were all so amazing, but I have to say Hawaii was my favourite.
What do you like to do in your spare time?: Take pictures! I absolutely love photography so I'm always out shooting. I'll even sometimes set up a small studio in my apartment and convince my roommates that they need more headshots.
Workout/nutrition tip: A six meals a day diet is your best option for losing weight and gaining lean muscle mass.
When did you start dancing: I started dancing when I was 12 and dancing competitively when I was 14.
Why do you like being an Argos Cheerleader?: Being an Argos Cheerleader is definitely an opportunity of a lifetime. It's challenging, exciting, and lots of fun. The girls on the team are talented and amazing to work with; its definitely a sisterhood and I’m glad to finally be a part of it.
Do you have any pets (if so what/name)?: I have the cutest Bengal cat named Loka.
Who is your role model?: My mom, she's such and amazing woman and has always been a mentor and an inspiration.
Favourite Film, Song, Actor or Musician: “Hey Ya” by Matt Weddle, "Astair" by Matt Cost and "After Tonight" by Justin Nozuka are a few of my favourite songs. My all-time favourite movie is "Singing in the Rain" with Gene Kelly. I used to make my family watch it on a daily basis. And I now own it on Beta, VHS and DVD.
