Favourite Argo Memory: The home opener, and doing MTV Cribs with Adriano Belli.

Occupation: Full-time student and dancer. 

Education: I am currently enrolled in my fourth year of Early Childhood Education at Ryerson University.

Most Embarassing Moment: At work, I was bringing food to one of our guests sitting in the bar. On my way to the table, the busser warned me, "Alessandra, be careful the floor is slippery, I just mopped it." Totally dismissing his words of caution, I continued towards the table and wiped out. To add insult to injury, I had sent pieces of the guests' Jumbalaya flying into the air which landed all over me. When I thought this moment could not get any worse, it was apparent that my performance was deserving of a standing ovation from other guests sitting in the bar. I had never been so embarrassed in my life!

Do you speak any other languages (if so which)?: Japanese, German, Ancient Egyptian….just kidding! I do however understand a bit of Italian as it is my background. The two languages that I want to learn in the near future are Italian and Spanish.

Favourite Vacation Spot: Nassau, Bahamas.

What do you like to do in your spare time?: Going out with friends, shopping, rollerblading, road trips, going to the beach and taking dance classes.

Work out/nutrition tip: Don’t eat past 8:00 p.m. and exercise regularly.

When did you start dancing?: I began ballet classes when I was four years old and quickly developed a passion for dance. I have also been trained in jazz, lyrical, acro, tap and pointe.

Why do you like being an Argos Cheerleader?: I enjoy cheerleading for the Argos for many reasons. Being a competitive dancer for seven years, I have developed a passion for performing and entertaining and by being an Argos Cheerleader, I have been able to fulfill these passions. I’m happy that our team is not only about cheerleading and dancing, but also about being heavily involved in the community, which is something that means a lot to me.

Do you have any pets (if so what/name)?: I have an Alaskan husky named Sabre.

Who is your role model?: My role model is definitely my Grandmother. Although she is 86 years old, she is always the life of the party and I have been able to learn many valuable things from her. I admire absolutely everything about her. Love you Nonna!
