Account Executive
Toronto Argonauts Football Club

Reports to: Director, Ticket Sales and Service
Department: Ticket Sales & Service

NATURE & SCOPE

As a member of the Toronto Argonauts Ticket Sales & Service Team your major focus will be to generate excitement and drive revenue through selling ticket packages to area businesses, local groups/organizations and individuals. The Argos are looking for motivated sales staff committed to success and comfortable with telephone sales and cold calls.

As a full-time employee the individual will be responsible for an individual quota as top performers will be given the ability to grow their career within the Toronto Argonauts Football Club. The Inside Sales department acts as a feeder system to all full-time positions and career growth is the main objective of the program.

Qualifications: A strong desire to start a career in the sports industry. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to the sports industry, passion for sales, strong work ethic, competitiveness, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
• Solicitation of businesses and individuals for the purpose of increase ticket sales including setting meetings for senior account executives
• Provide inside support for the Sales Department including managing the inbound sales calls
• Assist sales team in sales promotions and activities
• Assist with various game day operations as required
• Perform any other additional duties as assigned
• Represent the Toronto Argonauts in a proud and professional manner

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications
• Strong teamwork mentality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Flexible work schedule
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
• Knowledge of and experience with promotional sales and special events a plus
