MISSISSAUGA – Fans of the Toronto Argonauts will get an opportunity to see the team in action this Saturday as the Double Blue will hold an inter-squad scrimmage.  The mock game will feature the offence vs. the defence with a full team of CFL referees officiating.  The game will feature eight series of 6-8 scripted plays, as well as special teams, with live play to the ball.

The competition at training camp has been at a high level and coaches will use this game to help in their evaluation.  It will also be the first opportunity for many of the rookies to experience the quick time of a CFL game, under the watchful eyes of officials.

Argos supporters are invited to come out and watch as Cleo Lemon and Dalton Bell compete for the starting QB position and Cory Boyd and Chad Owens look to pick up where they left off last season.  This mock game is the first of the 2011 squad’s journey in their quest for the Grey Cup.

The next opportunity to see the Argos in game action will be on Saturday, June 18 at 1:00 p.m. against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in a pre-season match at Rogers Centre.
