MISSISSAUGA -- The Toronto Argonauts released defensive tackle Miguel Robede and defensive back Michael Grant today.

Robede was acquired along with P.K. Sam in a trade with Calgary in the off-season.  The 2005 first overall pick played three seasons at Laval University, winning two Vanier Cups, after transferring from the University of Miami, where he won an NCAA national title. The four-year CFL veteran played 53 games, making 41 tackles and seven sacks for the Stamps. He also played in three playoff games and won a Grey Cup championship with the Stampeders in 2008.

Grant joined the Argos as a free agent in 2010 and played in six games, starting two.
